Accessibility

Accessibility in TicketFae is a work in progress, tackled one area at a time rather than all at once. This page is an honest snapshot of where each area stands today, and we update it as coverage grows.

Reduced Motion

Partially supported

When Reduce Motion is on, TicketFae swaps looping animations — including the bee mascot — for calm, static equivalents rather than removing the character entirely. This pattern is applied consistently across the app's core screens (mascot appearances, the Insights tab, animated status icons). A few secondary spots, such as photo gallery transitions, haven't been swept yet and may still animate. We treat this as an ongoing rollout, not a one-off fix.

VoiceOver

Partially supported

Several high-traffic areas — expense tracking, financial summaries, balance views — have explicit VoiceOver labels, correctly describe icon states (e.g. "Settled" vs "Not yet settled"), and hide purely decorative icons. Other areas of the app, including some settings screens and secondary tabs, have not yet been audited for VoiceOver and may be harder to navigate with a screen reader. We're working through the app screen by screen.

Larger Text

Supported

TicketFae has been tested with substantially increased text sizes (200%+), and layouts hold up without clipping or breakage in the areas checked.

Sufficient Contrast

Partially supported

Most of the app was checked with Increase Contrast enabled and held up well. One known gap: secondary/subtitle text is currently too faint under this setting and doesn't darken as much as it should. A fix for this is planned.

Voice Control, Dark Interface, Differentiate Without Color

Not yet addressed

These haven't been specifically evaluated or worked on yet. TicketFae does support a dark appearance following the system setting, but we haven't done a dedicated accessibility pass on it, so we're not claiming support here until we have.

Captions & Audio Descriptions

Not applicable

TicketFae has no video or narrated media content, so these settings don't currently apply to the app.

If something in TicketFae doesn't work well for you with an assistive technology, we'd like to know — it directly shapes which area we work on next. Reach us at alan@thank-you-partner.com.
